Our Antique Furniture cabinets and bookcases are probably the most personal piece in a family home. Similarly to today cabinets and bookcases would have been a focal point in a room, where work was carried out, and personnel effects kept. They would have been a reflection of the taste and style of a home. Our collection of 17th, 18th and early 19th century pieces vary from a George I early 18th Century walnut bachelors chest, to a highly figured Regency rosewood bookcase. All items selected, are chosen for their original classic design, rich colour and patination, and elegant proportions.
