A wonderful George II mahogany open armchair, the arms carved with rosettes above acanthus leaves, and standing on four legs carved with scrolls and similar acanthus, terminating in hairy paw feet with recessed castors.

This chair is crisply carved and constructed in quality dense mahogany. It stands well and benefits from its large and generous proportions.
