Sofa tables were relatively prevalent in the early 19th Century. However an example of this quality is extremely rare.
The top is cross banded in a slim banding of yew wood, and the rosewood venners are a light colour that have acquired a wonderful colour and patina. The support struts also benefit from subtle fluting.
