A George II Mahogany Library Armchair

 A wonderful George II mahogany open armchair, the arms carved with rosettes above acanthus leaves, standing on four well carved legs also carved with scrolls and acanthus, and terminating in hairy paw feet with recessed castors.

This important chair is crisply carved and constructed in quality dense mahogany. It is beautifully proportioned and benefits greatly from its classic and original design.
